Bitcoin and Trump's Intersection: A Game of Freedom and Control

1. What Does Not Kill Me Only Makes Me Stronger
"I'm Back, Bitches!" This phrase salutes all the skeptics and the haters.
From the first president in history to be convicted, who frolicked around and claimed he would give humanity brain-machine interfaces and send them to Mars, to the "tech maniac," to some disintegrated former allies and past enemies who, in addition, a cryptocurrency declared dead hundreds of times by mainstream media since 2011. This seemingly twisted and absurd combination made up all the visible chips on the Republican side in the U.S.̇ 60th presidential election. With Trump as the focal point, the internal structure of this team appears fragile. The two key figures in the team, Musk and Vance, have openly criticized his policies multiple times, and he himself has criticized Bitcoin multiple times since 2019, viewing it as a Ponzi scheme and a money laundering tool.
But "All the world reveals success to those who are successful, and the world reveals strife to those who are striving," be it people or things, as long as there is a point of interest intersection, disagreements can naturally be temporarily ignored. For Trump, this is a battle of life and death, a battle for family honor. For Musk, this is a battle for the future of humanity. For Vance, this is a defense war between the old American Dream and the new Silicon Valley. All these obstacles converge at this moment: the Democratic Party.
Since God cast the first vote in Pennsylvania, the balance of victory has begun to tilt. Changing leaders, bringing out all the old politicians within the party, gathering Hollywood stars, spending a fortune on media propaganda, the Democratic Party used all its tricks but failed to stop the Trump team's victory.
On the voting termination day of November 6, in contrast to the so-called most intense historical moment and Harris's slight lead in mainstream American media polls before the vote, the Republican Party won all seven swing states, ending the battle in half a day. Trump eventually repelled the Democratic Party's comprehensive encirclement with overwhelming force. One of the key cards of the Republican Party is the silent majority, those bottom-tier lawful citizens who are oppressed by illegal immigrants and liberal authoritarianism. They don't speak out on social media, but they will cast the right vote. The man wearing the red MAGA hat has once again stormed back to the White House.

In this extraordinary U.S. presidential election, I can understand the motivation of everyone in the Trump team to stand by Trump, but why did he choose Bitcoin? One common explanation is that U.S. cryptocurrency holders account for thirteen percent of the total population, and Trump needs to please these voters. And according to his explanation, Bitcoin can be used to repay the $35 trillion national debt and replace gold as a new strategic reserve. The former reason seems somewhat strained, while the latter seems somewhat absurd. To convince myself, from the 6th till now, I have read a large number of articles and videos from traditional financial bloggers. The answer I believe is that there are multiple intersections between Bitcoin and the United States led by Trump and Musk over the next four years: namely energy, anti-Fed, anti-Democratic Party, anti-big government, and a new symbol of the old American Dream.
2. Energy
The true purpose of politicians is always hidden beneath lofty reasons. Let's take a look back at the strangest point in Trump's future vision of Bitcoin: In June of this year, Trump posted on Truth Social late at night, stating, "Bitcoin mining may be our last line of defense against CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies)… We want all remaining Bitcoin to be made in the USA!!! This will help us dominate the energy sector."
Similar remarks abound, such as the hope that all remaining Bitcoin will bear the label "Made in America," making the U.S. the capital of crypto. The underlying meaning conveyed in these remarks is to maintain a united front with the grassroots, resist the Democratic Party's Crypto tyranny, resist CBDCs, and resist Bitcoin produced in Europe and Asia. However, upon closer examination, whether Bitcoin is labeled Made in the USA seems unrelated to the above points. Trump's true purpose actually lies in the development of energy. Trump's main backers behind the scenes are the CEO of an energy transmission company, Kelcy Warren, the founder of Continental Resources, Harold Hamm, the CEO of Hilcorp Energy Company, Jeff Hildebrand, the CEO of oil company CrownQuest Operating, Timothy Marvin Dunn, and the U.S.'s largest oil company, Koch Industries. Funding from the oil industry was a major source of Trump's reelection campaign funds. The Democratic Party's promotion of renewable energy has significantly hindered the development of these traditional oil industries. Trump's intention is to strengthen the use of fossil fuels, generate electricity with fossil energy, and drill for oil wherever possible.
Musk's dream of Mars is also closely related to the energy industry. What are the obstacles to landing on Mars? First is energy, followed by rocket launch costs, AI robots, and communication, which correspond to Musk's Tesla electric vehicles, SpaceX, Tesla robots, and Starlink, respectively. However, the biggest obstacle to immigrating to Mars has now become the government. Most of the donation funds behind the Democratic Party come from traditional automakers such as General Motors and Ford. Although the Democratic Party has implemented clean energy bills and electric vehicle subsidies, these actions naturally exclude Tesla. Although the U.S.'s return-to-the-moon plan was initiated during Trump's previous term, the $146 million order was mostly allocated to SpaceX. However, after Biden took office, NASA reallocated the order, greatly reducing SpaceX's order quantity. SpaceX only received a $9.4 million order, with the bulk going to Bezos' Blue Origin. The most important issue is that the Democratic Party government has always made it difficult for SpaceX to launch rockets through environmental regulatory measures, which are extremely absurd. For example, concerns about whether rockets will hit marine life and pose a threat to the marine environment. Starlink played a crucial role for Ukraine in the Russia-Ukraine war, but the user fees have been delayed, causing Musk, who had initially chosen to shut down Starlink operations in Ukraine, to reopen Starlink under pressure from the Democratic Party.
The All in Trump is Musk's only choice, and the energy policy and space contracts will be the chips Trump exchanges with him. Aside from reviving the oil industry, all of this aligns with Trump's anti-extreme environmental policy, making the two men naturally in sync.
In addition, energy also plays a significant role in AI development. I mentioned in last year's article "Prospective Race Track: Decentralized AI Computing Power Market" that computing power is the oil of the future. If this oil is divided into two parts, it is electricity and chips. The "Token count per dollar per watt" represents future productivity. Developing the energy industry is also for the U.S. to maintain its leadership in AI, a critical technology, aligning with the needs of the new Silicon Valley power behind Vance. Therefore, Bitcoin mining is just a facade for Trump. Made in the USA has no inherent connection with stopping CBDC, stopping other countries' mining, and understanding Bitcoin too much. He just needs to know that people do like this thing but also that it consumes electricity.

III. Anti-Fed
Zuckerberg was once the number one fan of the Democratic Party. To demonstrate loyalty to the Democratic Party, he immediately banned Trump's social accounts at the first opportunity after Trump's departure. Trump has repeatedly stated that if given the chance to return to office, the first thing he would do is throw Zuckerberg in jail. However, such loyalty did not bring about Democratic compromise on Libra. Zuckerberg may not really understand that this is a declaration of war on the United States' largest private bank, the Federal Reserve. Meta's fate is a stock price crash, and the metaverse has become a bubble, but compared to past politicians, Zuckerberg is still relatively lucky.
In history, there are two presidents who wanted to shake up the Federal Reserve. One was Lincoln, who wanted to regain the coinage right, and the other was John F. Kennedy, who wanted to issue silver-backed currency. The end result was naturally being assassinated. Yet Musk and Trump still want to be the next challengers to the Federal Reserve. During his previous term, Trump openly expressed dissatisfaction with the Fed's rate hikes multiple times. The Fed's independence prevented him from intervening in monetary policy. In the next term, he hopes to directly remove Fed Chair Jerome Powell. Musk, during the previous crypto cycle, attempted Tesla's Bitcoin payments, only to later claim that Bitcoin was not environmentally friendly, halting Bitcoin payments. Of course, I prefer to believe that the fundamental intent of adopting Bitcoin payments was to challenge the U.S. dollar. The reason for the eventual halt was certainly not environmental concerns.
Destruction before establishment is a commonality among the three. Trump is the craziest politician, Musk is the craziest entrepreneur, and Bitcoin is the craziest currency. Perhaps there is nothing in this world they dare not challenge. On November 8, in a post by a senator, Musk replied with a "
