Listed Companies Flocking to Buy BTC: Top 15 Profit Ranking Revealed, Who Grew Nearly 30x?
Original Article Title: "Quick Look at Top 15 Listed Companies' BTC Holdings Profit, Who Grew Nearly 30 Times?"
Original Article Author: Wenser, Odaily Planet Daily

In a previous article titled "Quick Look at Top 25 Listed Companies' BTC Holdings Ranking, Exploring the Secret of 'Coin and Stock Dual Cultivation,'" we systematically reviewed the top 25 listed companies ranked by BTC holdings. In that article, MicroStrategy (MSTR) saw its stock price skyrocket from around $194 to nearly $500 in just about a month, with an increase of about 150%. Furthermore, as the BTC price broke through around $97,000 to hit new highs, its BTC holdings' cumulative profit has now reached nearly $15.7 billion, continuing to lead the list of listed companies by BTC holding profit.

Not only that, world-renowned tech giant Microsoft had previously revealed that its shareholders had begun voting on whether the company should invest in Bitcoin. According to NCPPR, if Microsoft decides not to invest in Bitcoin, a subsequent rise in the price may lead to shareholder lawsuits. Taking all factors into consideration, as we predicted earlier: more and more listed companies will join the Bitcoin strategic reserve ranks. After all, in the current accelerating mainstreaming process of Bitcoin, buying BTC leads to a stock price increase, while rejecting BTC results in a weak stock price, making the choice obvious.

In this article, Odaily Planet Daily will take stock of the top 15 listed companies ranked by BTC holdings profit for investors' reference. (Note: Due to business type distinctions, this ranking did not include publicly traded companies related to cryptocurrency mining. We will revisit this analysis at a later date. The statistical data in this ranking is sourced from BitcoinTreasuries.Net and may differ from listed company disclosures, provided for reference only.)

Based on this data, its accumulated profits have reached as high as $113 million. Meitu's founder behind the scenes, Cai Wensheng, is a well-known Bitcoin whale, and the actual amount of BTC held by the company should be more than disclosed.

The Biggest Beneficiary of the "BTC Strategic Reserve": Japanese Listed Company Metaplanet

In a previous article "Top 25 Overview of Listed Company BTC Holdings, Finding the Secret to 'Coin-Stock Dual Repair'," we mentioned that the Japanese listed company Metaplanet (3350.T) is a follower of the "MicroStrategy BTC Strategic Reserve" and also the biggest beneficiary: since starting to buy BTC, its stock price has previously soared by up to 468%, and at that time its stock price was only $7.50; a month later today, its BTC holdings have increased from the previous 861.4 BTC to 1142 BTC, and its stock price has also skyrocketed to $16.54, with an increase of over 220%, serving as another example of a "BTC leverage concept stock." Meanwhile, despite its average purchase price of $65,972, its accumulated profits are still as high as $35.71 million, ranking 11th.

Followers Follow Successively: U.S. Listed Companies Flock to the "BTC Strategic Reserve" List

Yesterday, MicroStrategy (MSTR) successfully entered the top 100 listed companies in the United States, ranking 97th, thanks to its surging stock price. On Tuesday, its stock price once rose by 12%, breaking through the $400 mark, closing at $430. With this performance, it rose 29 places, and its stock price has risen by over 500% year-to-date.

Previously, according to reliable sources, over 60 publicly traded companies have adopted a Bitcoin strategy, with thousands of private companies following suit.

List of Publicly Traded Companies Executing BTC Strategies

Meanwhile, as November unfolded and with Trump's successful election as the 47th President of the United States, the crypto market has been on a wild bull run under favorable conditions. Just as before, the gradual introduction of custody exchanges, publicly traded trusts, futures, and spot ETFs welcomed a new type of capital allocator, a new class of Bitcoin investors has emerged on a large scale. This signifies a peak in another type of Bitcoin product this month: corporate leverage. Four public companies—MicroStrategy, MARA Holdings, Semler Scientific, and MetaPlanet—have added billions of dollars of collective debt to their balance sheets to purchase Bitcoin.

Following this, there has naturally been a continuous influx of "strategic followers" joining the trend.

On November 19, the publicly listed US stock company Genius Group Limited (GNS) announced a $10 million investment to acquire 110 BTC at an average price of $90,932, marking the company's establishment of a Bitcoin reserve. This purchase came after the company announced a "Bitcoin-first" strategy on November 12, committing to hold 90% or more of its existing and future reserves in Bitcoin form, with an initial target of holding $120 million worth of Bitcoin.

On the same day, LQR House Inc., a US publicly traded company focusing on spirits and beverages, announced that its board had approved the purchase of $1 million worth of Bitcoin as part of its treasury management strategy. Additionally, the company will now accept cryptocurrency payments on CWSpirits.com, allowing customers to use digital currency flexibly to purchase alcoholic beverages. As part of this plan, LQR House is retaining up to $10 million in cryptocurrency payments as Bitcoin.

On November 20, the publicly traded biopharmaceutical company Acurx Pharmaceuticals (ACXP) announced that its board had approved a $1 million Bitcoin purchase as a reserve asset. On the same day, another US public company, Hoth Therapeutics (HOTH), announced that its board had approved the purchase of up to $1 million in Bitcoin, with CEO Robb Knie even stating, "We believe that Bitcoin's anti-inflationary nature may make it a reliable asset with value storage capabilities."

It is clear that many public companies have fully recognized the value storage function and stock price boost effect of BTC, and have joined this "BTC Strategic Reserve Race."

Conclusion: Buying BTC or Missing Out on BTC? That is the Question

In 2022, the market experienced a series of black swan and thunderstorm events, causing it to fall into a silent state. At that time, MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor continued to buy BTC, while another national-level BTC strategic reserve decision-maker, Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, was mocked by many as a "rising star." Now, as the BTC price approaches the $100,000 mark, there is no doubt that buying BTC has made the two of them "brilliant" in their own rights.

Now, for market retail investors and public companies that have not yet bought BTC, the choice they face is similar: whether to buy the stocks of public companies that have already established a BTC reserve or to watch the BTC price fluctuate and miss out on the opportunity to boost their stock price through a BTC strategic reserve?

Survival or death, in investment terms, this is indeed a question.
