July 27th - The creator of the Solana Meme project "EPIK," Mando, announced that the total token supply of EPIK is 1 billion, and currently, nearly 60% of the token supply has been taken out of circulation. Mando revealed that he has personally bought back 356 million EPIK tokens and burned 154 million of them; additionally, 81 million tokens have been burned from the liquidity pool (LP).

In response to the community's questions about holding a large amount of tokens, Mando stated that he did not receive 50% of the tokens through airdrops. Instead, over the past 3 years, he has invested a seven-figure sum to consistently buy back and support the project, accumulating and controlling over 50% of the token supply.

Mando mentioned that he had early involvement in creating EPIK through a live broadcast, and since then, he has continuously invested funds to support the project's development. He emphasized that his actions are different from the way some Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), creators, or celebrities acquire tokens and then sell them. He is currently considering gradually airdropping some of the held tokens to long-term project supporters and contributors as a reward for early participants.

According to GMGN market data, the market capitalization of EPIK once surged to around $27 million, with the hourly trading volume reaching around $6.5 million. Subsequently, the market capitalization fell to around $16 million.
