Binance will stop supporting the Sophon (SOPH) mainnet, and the token will migrate to the ERC20 network

July 28th, according to an official announcement, Binance will stop supporting the Sophon (SOPH) mainnet and open up SOPH for deposits and withdrawals via the Ethereum (ERC20) network.

The announcement states that starting from August 4, 2026, at 08:00 (UTC), Binance will suspend Sophon mainnet deposits and withdrawals. After the migration is completed, the Sophon mainnet will no longer be used for deposits and withdrawals.

Binance has stated that they will be responsible for the technical operations required for this migration, and spot, margin, futures trading, and Binance Earn services will not be affected. During this migration, SOPH will be migrated from the Sophon mainnet to the Ethereum (ERC20) network at a 1:1 ratio. Users do not need to take any manual action but should pay attention to subsequent deposit and withdrawal network adjustments.
