Jul 29, 08:34

July 29th - Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev announced that his X account was breached last week. The attacker used social engineering to deceive X customer support, bypassing two-factor authentication and login alerts, and posted fake content related to a Meme coin. Subsequently, the X security team quickly removed the relevant posts and restored account access on the same day. Currently, the platform has implemented additional security measures for the account to prevent similar incidents from happening again.

In the early hours of July 24th, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev's X account was allegedly compromised, and an unusual post was made announcing the launch of the Robinhood Chain's "official" mascot token Vladhood (VLAD), along with the token's contract address.
