Grok 4.6 Launching Next Week? Musk: Grok 4.7 with a $2.1T Market Cap Will Take a Bit Longer
According to Vision OneMillion monitoring, Musk announced the release plans for Grok 4.6 and Grok 4.7. Grok 4.6 is expected to go live around August 7th, with a parameter size of $1.5 trillion. The focus is on strengthening supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning, which involves further refining the model with high-quality examples and reward feedback.
Grok 4.7 will be released in a few weeks, with the parameter size increased to $2.1 trillion. Musk stated that it will surpass 4.6 in all aspects except for slightly slower service speed, and it will also require fewer tokens to complete tasks.
Both Grok 4.6 and Grok 4.5 have a parameter size of $1.5 trillion, with the upgrade focus on post-training. Grok 4.7 further scales up the model size.
Previously, Musk only provided vague time frames of "two weeks later" and "four weeks later." The new statement has narrowed down the target timeframe for 4.6 to around August 7th, while 4.7 still lacks a precise date.
