A-Share ChiNext Index Hits Bottom and Rises by 1.55%

July 29th. The A-share market experienced a day-long rebound after hitting the day's low. The three major indices collectively rose, with more stocks gaining than falling. Over 4200 stocks in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and ChiNext markets closed in the green today, with a total turnover of 2.31 trillion. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.4%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 1.1%, and the Growth Enterprise Index rose by 1.55%. Leading the losses were the photolithography, storage chip, and advanced packaging sectors.
