Ethereum's 11th Anniversary: From Humble Office to "World Computer," Core Developers Share Inception Day Classic Group Photo

July 30th - Ethereum's early core developer Lefteris Karapetsas (@lefteris.eth) posted on Farcaster to commemorate the 11th anniversary of Ethereum's launch. "Unbelievable, it has been 11 years already. On July 30, 2015, we launched Ethereum in a humble small office in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin. Since then, everything has changed dramatically. Ethereum has undergone countless transformations, but one thing has always remained the same: Ethereum is the world's computer."

In the old photo shared by Lefteris Karapetsas, on the day of Ethereum mainnet's launch on July 30, 2015, early core developers took this classic group photo in the humble office, with the background screen showing "Frontier block #1,028,201," indicating the genesis block information. Early core developers and contributors gathered to celebrate, including Gavin Wood, Christian Reitwiessner, Christoph Jentzsch, among others. Vitalik Buterin, as Ethereum's primary co-founder and core designer, appeared relatively "low-key" at the edge of the photo. At that time, at just 21 years old, he witnessed this historic moment that would change the blockchain world alongside the team.
