U.S. Stocks Open Higher, Nasdaq Up 1.6%; Microsoft Soars Around 12%, Storage Sector Surges

July 30th, according to BIT (bit.com) market data, the U.S. stock market opened higher, with the Dow rising 0.6%, the S&P 500 up 1%, and the Nasdaq up 1.6%.

Microsoft rose by about 12%. After the market closed on Wednesday, Microsoft announced its Q4 FY2026 earnings, with revenue of $90 billion, an 18% year-over-year increase.

The storage sector saw significant gains, with SanDisk (SNDK.O) up around 11% and SK Hynix (SKHY.O) up around 7%.
