Trump Announces Hamas Agrees to Full Disarmament, Israel to Withdraw Troops

Jul 31, 07:37

July 31st, U.S. President Trump announced on social media that a historic agreement has been reached with the Peace Commission to completely disarm all armed groups in Hamas and Gaza. This agreement is a crucial step towards Gaza eventually being governed by the new Palestinian government, which will closely collaborate with the Peace Commission to assist the Palestinian people.

At the same time, Israel will receive the security guarantees it deserves, and Gaza will no longer be used as a base for "terrorist attacks." This marks a significant milestone in Trump's 20-point plan implementation. The agreement will proceed in a carefully designed phased approach. As disarmament is completed, the Israeli military will withdraw, and an international stabilization force will work alongside the new Palestinian police force to ensure the security of Gaza for its residents and neighboring countries. Trump stated, "We have made historic progress, but there is still much work to be done."
