Trump: US-Iran Negotiations to Begin Tomorrow, Agreement Reached on Hormuz Strait

August 3rd, U.S. President Trump said on Sunday Eastern Time:

“At the request of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Iran to call off the strike on Iran, if it were not for their request, we would have launched a large-scale attack on Iran last night, and Iran is aware of the scale of this attack. I believe there is already an agreement on the Strait of Hormuz, and a denuclearization agreement will also be reached. We are in talks with them in a negotiation format, starting tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday morning Beijing time). We are ready to act at any time.”

Trump also mentioned the Japanese Yen: “U.S. intervention is because of our good relationship with Japan, and we always support Japan. The U.S. has gained economic benefits from the relevant arrangements.”
