Aug 3, 18:07

August 3rd, Federal Reserve President Williams stated strong support for the FOMC's latest rate decision and reiterated commitment to restoring inflation to the 2% target level. If inflation does not fall back to 2% as expected, the Fed will take action to achieve price stability.

In addition, Williams also expressed that the impact of the Middle East conflict on inflation is expected to gradually diminish, but he acknowledged that the situation still remains uncertain. He also pointed out that market pricing has provided valuable information to the Fed, but the Fed does not need to agree with market pricing levels.

Furthermore, he believes that artificial intelligence investing will not pose a financial stability risk and is not surprised by the volatility in the AI industry.
