Google Hands Over Chrome to Gemini Spark: Schedule Home Viewings, Book Flights Made Easy

According to Dongcha Beating monitoring, Google has integrated Gemini Spark into Chrome's automatic browsing feature. With user permission, it can access the user's logged-in website accounts to complete complex web tasks on behalf of the user.

For example, if a user has bookmarked several apartments, Spark can contact each agent individually and schedule viewings. It can also search for flights, compare prices, and progress through the booking process up to the payment stage.

During task execution, Spark will open web pages, click buttons, and fill out forms autonomously. When encountering actions such as payment processing, account registration, or submission of sensitive information, it will pause for user confirmation before proceeding.

This feature is initially available to US desktop Chrome users and requires a subscription to Google AI Pro or Ultra. Google reminds users that the Agent may still click the wrong buttons or perform unintended actions, and users should verify important steps.
