The UK Financial Conduct Authority Revamps IPO Rules, New Regulations to Take Effect on August 5th

Aug 5, 17:50

August 5th, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced the simplification of IPO-related rules to support company listing activities. The new rules will remove the 7-day waiting period for affiliated research reports during an IPO and streamline the information sharing requirements between the issuer and the company.

The FCA stated that this reform will reduce the issuer's execution risk and compliance costs, making it easier for companies to enter the public market. The new rules will officially take effect on August 5, 2026. (FXStreet)
