BitMart Founder Responds to Withdrawal Difficulty: No Exit Scam, Core Team Conducting Asset Inventory, Plans for Orderly Withdrawal

Aug 8, 21:19

August 8th. Sheldon, the founder of the cryptocurrency exchange BitMart, responded to users' difficulties in withdrawing funds and employee salary arrears, stating: "We have not run away, nor will we run away. There have been many rumors, so-called former employees, current employees' so-called revelations, screenshots, etc. Please do not easily believe rumors. The core team is still conducting asset inventory, asset aggregation, and system maintenance work. Orderly withdrawals are our goal. Please wait for announcements and notifications. We have not misappropriated assets. Operations such as pre-emptive runs and evacuations have involved court and third-party audit firms to provide transparent reports. Thank you for your trust."

In addition, as per community feedback, BitMart currently faces a large number of user withdrawal difficulties. Users have reported long processing times, transactions showing status as "completed" without a corresponding on-chain hash, automatic refunds of assets, occurrences of "on-chain freezes," extremely low daily withdrawal limits causing high-value withdrawals to be almost stuck, among other issues. This is in contrast to the official statement that "withdrawals are still available."
