Coinsbuy Hacked, Over $79 Million in Assets Stolen

August 10th, according to Specter Monitor, wallets associated with Coinsbuy were hacked for over $7.9 million on Ethereum and TRON, with the attacker later laundering the funds into XMR through exchanges.

Coinsbuy stated that with the support of ChangeNOW, they have successfully frozen a six-figure amount of the stolen funds. Following the incident, Coinsbuy temporarily suspended its deposit and withdrawal services, which have now been resumed.
