Global sales figures show that out of every 100 humanoid robots sold worldwide, 97 are from Chinese manufacturers.

According to PerceptIn Beating monitoring, Chinese humanoid robots have taken the majority of global shipments. Smart Analytics Global data shows that in the first half of 2026, a total of approximately 19,100 units were shipped worldwide, with over 97% coming from Chinese manufacturers, a nearly threefold increase year-over-year.

ZhiYuan Robotics has surpassed YuTree to become the global leader. In the first half of the year, ZhiYuan shipped around 8,400 units, accounting for 44% globally, while YuTree shipped about 5,900 units. Together, these two companies now represent approximately three-quarters of the global market.

A significant shift is that robots are moving from display and research towards real-world applications. The proportion of industrial and commercial use in shipments has increased from about 50% a year ago to over 70%. SAG predicts that the global humanoid robot shipments for this year will reach around 60,000 units.
