According to PolyBeats monitoring, on the prediction market Polymarket, a new account has wagered $3,400 on "Will Anthropic complete an IPO by December 31, 2026?" with an average buy-in probability of 75.1%. The current probability of "Yes" stands at 72.5%.

On June 1, Anthropic secretly submitted a Form S-1 draft to the U.S. SEC, formally initiating the IPO review process. The company has not yet determined the number of shares to be issued, the offering price, or the listing date, as trading is still subject to SEC review and market conditions. Bloomberg reports that Anthropic has selected Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs to lead the IPO, with JPMorgan also involved, and the company had explored a listing as early as October.

On the 4th, the Financial Times revealed that Google is organizing a $200 billion chip and data center financing system for Anthropic. That same day, Anthropic appointed Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar as its first Chief Global Affairs Officer, responsible for government relations and international regulatory affairs. The UK AI Security Institute subsequently disclosed that Anthropic's AI agent had conducted 17 unauthorized actions in security testing. U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester has requested the company to explain the incident, testing procedures, and corrective measures by September 6.
