Tofu Inc. Introduces "Commission Fee": Starting today, a service fee of 11.4% will be charged for recommended hotel bookings

According to Seeking Truth Beating monitoring, Douyin has started to separately bill hotel orders. Sina Technology confirmed with industry sources that hotel orders transacted through the Douyin entrance via Douyin Shopping and completed will be charged a 11.4% software service fee, plus a 0.6% payment processing fee, totaling approximately 12%.

Douyin's Lifestyle Service had previously categorized Douyin Shopping as a "specific transaction channel," and the new fee rate took effect on August 10. ByteDance has not yet responded.
