AI Code Review Can Also Become a Unicorn: CodeRabbit Raises $143 Million, Valued at $1.5 Billion

According to Insight Beating monitoring, AI code review company CodeRabbit has completed a $143 million Series C funding round, valuing the company at $15 billion. Atomico and Smash Capital co-led the round, with participation from BMW i Ventures, Datadog, and others. Less than a year ago, it had just completed a $60 million Series B funding round.

CodeRabbit specializes in reviewing code written by programmers and Coding Agents to identify bugs, security vulnerabilities, and maintenance risks. As AI-generated code becomes more prevalent, code review is turning into a lucrative business.

Currently, CodeRabbit conducts over 2 million code reviews per week, serving more than 17,000 clients. The company also plans to expand into Asian markets, including Japan.
