Hone wants to be an Enterprise Agent Controller Layer: a goal running for several months
According to Dintelligence Beating Monitor, Hone has officially debuted, with team members from Cognition, Mercor, Ramp, and OpenAI. It aims to build a long-running enterprise Agent system.
Users only need to provide a business goal, such as "reduce new user churn rate to 8%." Hone then takes care of task decomposition, Agent scheduling, software modification, and continuously adjusts based on enterprise data.
The key difference between it and a typical Agent is that it doesn't just perform a one-time task but works continuously around the same goal for weeks or even months. The company describes it as "more like Kubernetes than a chatbot."
However, at present, it is primarily a technology roadmap release. Hone has not disclosed a full product, pricing, or verifiable long-running use cases, and the actual effectiveness is yet to be proven.
