Ethereum Staking Ratio Reaches New All-Time High of 34.7%, Staking Reward Rate Slightly Decreases to 2.6%

Aug 13, 19:49

August 13th, according to Staking Rewards data, the Ethereum staking ratio has reached a new all-time high. Currently, approximately 41.89 million ETH are staked, accounting for 34.7% of the total Ethereum supply. The corresponding staked value is about $79.2 billion, with the current staking reward rate at around 2.6%, a recent decrease of 0.49%. There are approximately 789,000 active validators on the network. The staking ratio continues to climb, with a recent increase of about 0.77%, while the network's inflation rate has dropped to around 0.86%.

More and more ETH is being locked in PoS consensus, tightening the circulating supply. ETH staking rewards mainly come from block issuance at the consensus layer, priority fees, and MEV. However, as the staked amount increases, the individual validator reward rate will be diluted.
