Upbit's operator Dunamu saw a 73% QoQ decrease in operating profit to 23.5 billion Korean Won in Q2

on August 14th, the operator of Upbit, Dunamu, announced its Q2 2026 performance. The quarterly revenue was 173.5 billion South Korean won, with an operating profit of 23.5 billion South Korean won, representing a decrease of approximately 26% and 73% from Q1, respectively.

In Q1, Dunamu had a revenue of 234.6 billion South Korean won and an operating profit of 88.0 billion South Korean won. In contrast, in Q2, both revenue and profit saw a significant decline, with the operating profit decreasing notably.

Dunamu stated that the decline in this quarter's performance was mainly due to the overall liquidity contraction in the global digital asset market, which weakened investor sentiment as a result.
