Beating AI News Flash: Cyberspace Administration of China publishes a new batch of on-device generative AI service filings for mobile phones. Honor YOYO Claw, Xiaomi miclaw, and "Step Terminal AI" all completed filings on September 22, with applicable scenarios being Honor phones, Xiaomi phones, and Step phones, respectively.

Xiaomi miclaw is a system-level AI Agent developed by Xiaomi based on the MiMo large model. It began small-scale closed beta testing in March this year, but officially ended the beta and ceased service on September 21. In other words, the filing was officially completed the day after miclaw stopped service. Xiaomi has not announced that it will relaunch it, and completing the filing does not mean service will resume.

Honor YOYO Claw had previously been deployed on PC, while the mobile version had been in small-scale testing. Honor officials have repeatedly replied in the community this year that YOYO Claw's phone features are still under development or only open to invited users. This filing directly specifies "Honor phones" as the applicable scenario.

Step unveiled its first agent phone, STEPX Neo, in July this year, equipped with Step AOS and personal agent Amoo, but no specific launch date was announced at the time. The completion of the filing for "Step Terminal AI" now fills in a compliance step for on-device generative AI services on mobile phones.
