Aptos governance proposal vote enables encrypted transaction functionality to reduce MEV risk.

October 5: Aptos governance proposal #206 is currently under vote, aiming to enable ChunkyDKG V1 full mode and the encrypted_transactions feature. This mechanism will support encrypted transactions through distributed key generation, hiding their contents before they enter consensus ordering, and later collaboratively decrypting them by validators, which helps reduce front-running and MEV risks.

The proposal vote will end on October 6. Currently, approval votes account for nearly 100%, but the turnout is only 2.69%, which has not yet reached the 24.8% quorum requirement.
