Gate Founder and CEO Dr. Han: One-click access to global bank accounts with the same name, breaking down the boundaries between assets, funds, and payments.

October 7 — Gate founder and CEO Dr. Han attended TOKEN2049 in Singapore and delivered a keynote speech on the main stage of the event. During the speech, Dr. Han officially announced the launch of Gate Money and said, "An account should not become the boundary of funds. Gate Money supports one-click opening of a global bank account under the same name, connecting the boundaries between assets, funds, and payments, allowing funds to flow freely."

Dr. Han pointed out that the development of stablecoins, RWA, and blockchain payment infrastructure has enabled more assets to have the capacity for digital circulation and instant settlement, and the holding, transfer, and use of assets are gradually moving toward integration. Based on this change, Gate Money connects bank accounts with digital assets, fiat currency, stocks, ETFs, gold, and payment services. Eligible users can open a global bank electronic account under their own name with one click, which will support receiving payments in more than 60 local currencies, and can complete fund receipt and payment, asset exchange, and management within the Gate App, and then use fiat currency or digital assets for online and offline payments through Gate Card.

The launch of Gate Money this time marks that Gate's financial services have further extended from trading and asset management to fund circulation and daily consumption, connecting different assets, funds, and payment scenarios into the same system. Currently, users can open Gate Money with one click by updating the Gate App to version v8.39.0. In the future, Gate will further expand asset categories, payment methods, and financial service capabilities, and continue to build a comprehensive financial service system that connects assets with real-world consumption.
