OpenAI turns ChatGPT into an interactive interface: GPT-6 launches, answers are no longer just text.
动察 Beating AI News Flash: OpenAI has officially rolled out GPT-6 to ChatGPT users, along with the launch of Intelligent UI. ChatGPT can now automatically generate charts, buttons, interactive diagrams, and widgets based on the question. Users can directly click and adjust parameters within the response, no longer needing to rely on long blocks of text to understand the content.
For example, when asking about the structure of a bicycle, ChatGPT will generate an interactive diagram where different parts can be clicked; when planning a trip, it can directly display maps and routes; when learning complex concepts, users can gradually understand them through interactive charts. Users can also have it generate a retirement savings calculator, a bill-splitting tool, or even a playable mini-game on the spot.
OpenAI developed a set of native interface components and a compiler for this purpose. GPT-6 determines when to use text, images, or interactive controls, and displays the interface progressively as it generates the response, without waiting for all content to be fully generated.
GPT-6 also improves response speed and search capabilities. It can think and call tools while giving partial answers first. OpenAI claims that for questions requiring web search, GPT-6 Instant starts answering on average 44% faster than GPT-5.6 Instant.
Currently, Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users are beginning to gain access to GPT-6 Sol, while Free and Go users will receive GPT-6 Luna starting October 8.
