Ondo Launches Private Markets: Offering 24/7 Tokenized Exposure to Pre-IPO U.S. Stocks, with OpenAI as the First Underlying Asset

October 8: Ondo officially launched Ondo Private Markets, offering accredited investors tokenized pre-IPO exposure to private companies with 24/7 trading support. The first listing is an OpenAI private market note.

Ondo stated that Private Markets has three main features: First, buy and sell anytime, with 24/7 trading available on the Ondo Perps spot order book from day one without waiting for a company to go public; Second, self-custody and free transferability, allowing users to store tokens in their own wallets and freely transfer them among accredited holders; Third, support from mature infrastructure, as Ondo Private Markets is built on the same platform that created Ondo's tokenized stocks and tokenized U.S. Treasury products, which has a total value locked (TVL) of $3.9 billion and over 1 million holders.
