US core CPI annual rate hits new high since June

October 14th, the United States' September unadjusted core CPI annual rate rose to 2.6%, marking a new high since June this year and exceeding the market expectation of 2.5%. The seasonally adjusted core CPI monthly rate for September in the US was recorded at 0.3%, higher than the market forecast of 0.2%.
