Payment company Lydian launches merchant checkout app Lydian Pay, supporting crypto payments and settlements.

October 14: Payment company Lydian announced that its merchant checkout app, Lydian Pay, has been listed on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Merchants can download the free app on their existing smartphones or tablets and complete verification to accept payments, without the need for card readers, contracts, or additional hardware. Customers pay with digital asset wallets, and merchants settle in local fiat currency to their existing bank accounts; Lydian does not custody merchant funds, and payment records can be reconciled in the Lydian Merchant Portal.

The app allows merchants to choose the wallets, assets, and networks they accept, currently covering assets such as USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, TRX, and networks including Ethereum, Tron, Polygon, Solana, Arbitrum, Base, and Bitcoin.
