Aethir Announces Major Update to ATH Tokenomics: Daily Burn Mechanism to Launch in November, Burn Volume Directly Tied to Real Network Revenue
October 21: Aethir today announced a major adjustment to the ATH token economic mechanism. Starting from November 2026, the platform will daily extract a portion of network fees to burn ATH, with tokens permanently sent to a public burn address (0x000...dEaD), and the burn scale will fluctuate with the actual computing power usage of the network.
At the same time, the fixed platform fee will be replaced by a floating network fee, with the rate read in real-time via TWAP to reflect market conditions, decreasing during weak markets while the burn proportion rises. The Cloud Host emission schedule remains unaffected, fees are capped and will never exceed the value of Host rewards. The burn Dashboard will go live simultaneously with the first burn, and the mechanism has been audited by CertiK.
