Oct 21, 18:18

On October 21, NVIDIA announced major global telecom operators are extending NVIDIA accelerated computing technology into communication networks to deliver services closer to users and enterprises, improve the wireless communication experience, and automate network operations. T-Mobile has completed the world's first commercial network AI-RAN call; Deutsche Telekom, BT Group, and Elisa announced AI-RAN pilots.

NVIDIA also introduced two Aerial RAN Computer configurations for intelligent computing and radio access network workloads at high-capacity sites. In addition, nine telecom operators across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa are building or expanding infrastructure based on NVIDIA technology, while Nokia and Cisco are integrating NVIDIA's Nemotron open models into autonomous network operations software.
