Data: 43 DeFi price manipulation attacks so far in 2026, already surpassing all of 2022

October 25th, according to DefiLlama data, as of October 21st, 43 price manipulation attacks have been recorded in the DeFi sector in 2026, surpassing the previous annual high of 27 in 2022. Related losses total approximately $199 million, lower than the loss scale in some years, with the Tectonic case alone accounting for about $124.5 million. Of the remaining 42 cases, 32 involved single losses of less than $1 million.
