Wintermute: This week's focus is on FOMC wording, with Bitcoin's support level at $76,000.
October 27: Wintermute released its market weekly report yesterday, stating that BTC fell 2.43% last week to about $80,500, declining for a third consecutive week and once again testing the $80,000 mark; U.S. spot ETFs saw net outflows of $636 million on Thursday, the largest single-day outflow since June.
Wintermute believes that BTC is currently moving in tandem with AI-related stocks, and the market's reaction to Wednesday's FOMC meeting and subsequent inflation data will be crucial: if the FOMC tone is hawkish or inflation exceeds expectations, it could trigger selling pressure including in BTC. The institution said it is not pessimistic about the outlook but remains cautious until the FOMC meeting concludes and BTC reclaims $82,500, with downside support seen at $76,000.
