October 27: Peter Sellis today officially announced his appointment as X's new Head of Product. In the announcement, he stated, "The goal is to help accelerate this momentum by continuing to make this product beautiful and useful, serving our community, new users, and businesses around the world."

Public information shows that from 2015 to 2022, Peter Sellis served as Snapchat's first Product Manager, primarily responsible for advertising and monetization-related products. During his tenure, he built the product management organization, pioneered innovative monetization methods, and grew the revenue products from zero to a business scale exceeding $4 billion.

From 2022 to 2026, Peter Sellis served as Product Manager at Discord, fully responsible for the product organization and driving significant user growth on the platform. During this period, he managed Nikita Bier (X's former Head of Product).
