Ant Group's Lingguang 2.0 fully opens: Personal Agent launches, can monitor product price drops and manage daily affairs.
Beating AI News Flash: Ant Group's Lingguang App has launched version 2.0, shifting from chat and generating mini-apps to a personal AI Agent that can handle tasks for users over the long term. The new version focuses on long-term memory and proactive execution. Users only need to state a goal, and the AI will organize the steps, continuously follow up, and proactively remind them when there are important changes, without repeated inquiries.
The new feature "Help Me Manage" mainly handles trivial matters that require long-term monitoring. For example, it checks product prices at scheduled times each day and notifies when the price drops to a specified level; it continuously tracks flights, hotels, and travel arrangements, and promptly adjusts plans when there are delays or capacity restrictions. The new version also adds a "My Life" page, which centrally displays tasks currently being managed and progress that requires the user's attention.
In addition to reminders, Lingguang also attempts to actually take action. Previous beta tests showed that it can connect to external services through Skill and MCP, such as sending messages on DingTalk and querying and operating smart home appliances.
