Ansem: In the short term, has shifted from bullish to short selling; US stocks may have reached the end of the macroeconomic cycle.
October 29: Well-known trader Ansem stated on the podcast "Market Bubble" that he has recently shifted from bullish to bearish, "having reduced positions and taken profits over the past few days, while also shorting a portion."
Regarding stocks, Ansem believes that mainstream tickers have already seen massive gains, accumulating substantial unrealized profits with hardly any meaningful pullback. Now significant de-risking and profit-taking are beginning. He thinks US stocks may have reached the end of the macro cycle, with capital withdrawing.
On crypto, Ansem believes crypto performed strongly in Q3, but it may only be a counter-trend bounce rather than the start of a new bull market. Crypto had already front-run stocks' weakness, bouncing after being oversold ahead of time; now if stocks continue to weaken, they could drag crypto down with them. Bitcoin may pull back to around $70,000.
However, Ansem said on the program that he remains bullish on stock tokenization, which is a key path to bringing more traditional capital on-chain. Ansem sees it as a catalyst for the next wave of real users and capital inflows, rather than mere bear-market scraps. Ansem also reiterated his bullishness on the ZEC token, emphasizing its "privacy Bitcoin" attributes.
