Beating AI News Flash: Xiaohongshu has wholly acquired the company associated with AI travel tool "Yuanzhou Lvji." The latest business registration information shows that Xiaohongshu Technology Co., Ltd. has become the sole shareholder of Chaochao Shishi Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., with original shareholder Zheng Yifan exiting.

Yuanzhou Lvji has a very popular feature called "One-Click Copy Homework." When users come across travel guides on Xiaohongshu or WeChat public accounts, they no longer need to copy locations one by one and check maps. They can simply paste the note link, and AI can extract attractions and restaurants, plot map routes, estimate transportation time, and even allow friends to modify the itinerary together.

This tool has already accumulated a substantial user base. QuestMobile data shows that in February this year, Yuanzhou Lvji had approximately 2.49 million monthly active users, a year-on-year increase of 384.7%, ranking among the top ten travel service apps. Users aged 25 to 35 account for 72.1%.

It has also begun to expand its business beyond travel guides. At the end of 2025, the team also stated that it would not do flight or hotel bookings. By September this year, the app had already added AI-powered query functions for flight, hotel, and ticket prices. After viewing an itinerary, users can directly jump to partner platforms to book and can also check order status within the app.

Last year, Xiaohongshu also acquired the development entity behind its AI search product "Diandian." Diandian helps users find destinations and filter activity options, while Yuanzhou Lvji can organize inspiration notes into executable itineraries and then guide users toward bookings. From scrolling through a travel guide to actually booking tickets and setting off, Xiaohongshu is connecting these steps one by one.
