Typedef can analyze data engineering code such as SQL, mapping out dependencies among database fields, data processing workflows, and downstream reports. For instance, modifying a database join field might allow the program to run as usual but could cause financial reports to double-count revenue. Typedef helps AI preemptively detect such cascading impacts and trace the source of issues when data errors occur.

In prior self-built data engineering tests, Typedef found that incorporating this context increased the Agent's task success rate from 46.4% to 81.5%.
