Oct 19, 12:06

On October 19, Clearpool has published its 2026 v4.0 protocol whitepaper, stating that its institutional credit market is already running on multiple EVM-compatible networks and is now expanding further to the XRP Ledger. The whitepaper (v4.0) discloses that the institutional credit protocol will expand to the XRP Ledger together with Ripple and Cicada Partners, settle in the regulated stablecoin RLUSD, and migrate its token from CPOOL to a new token, CLEAR, at a 1:1 ratio. CLEAR has a total supply of 1.429 billion tokens, with 1.125 billion in circulation at the time of migration (78.75%); the migration and XRPL expansion have passed a Snapshot vote with a 97.16% approval rate. Since the protocol began operating in 2021, it has cumulatively issued approximately $965 million in loans, with borrowers including Jane Street, Flow Traders and Wintermute, and it currently supports six EVM chains. 50% of protocol fees will be used for open-market buybacks and permanent burning of CLEAR. The XRPL product is preparing for testing on Devnet.
