On October 20, a new report jointly released by Coinbase and The Block Pro Research, titled "The Always-On Dollar," shows that in the third quarter of this year, native stablecoin transfer transactions averaged more than $400 million per hour. In the 12 months ending July 31, about 73% of monitored stablecoin transfer transactions occurred outside US banking hours. Adjusted quarterly stablecoin transfer volume has grown fourfold since early 2023, reaching $891 billion in the third quarter; at the current growth rate, it is expected to reach $1.5 trillion by the end of 2027. In addition, sending a $200 remittance using USDC via the Base network saves about 86% in fees compared with traditional channels.
