Oct 24, 21:16

October 24: According to China News Service, the "Blue Book on Internet Advertising Governance in the AIGC Era" was officially released during the 33rd China International Advertising Festival. The blue book classifies AIGC advertising risks into four categories—content violations, technological confrontation, transaction links, and new scenarios—and proposes governance recommendations from eight aspects, covering the entire advertising delivery process. Xiao Tao, head of content safety strategy for business safety at Ocean Engine, said the platform uses multimodal large models for intelligent review; 90% of creatives can be reviewed within 10 minutes at the fastest, an efficiency improvement of 75%. The platform has dedicated protections for elderly people and minors, and will shut down and remove entities that are repeatedly penalized and repeatedly offend. Liu Xiaochun, director of the Internet Rule of Law Research Center at the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said advertisers bear primary responsibility for authenticity and cannot be exempted on the grounds that "the content was generated by AI."
