October 29: In response to P2P crypto trading platform Peer's announcement that “the platform supports buying and selling USDC via Alipay,” Alipay officially responded: “Alipay does not support virtual currency (crypto) trading or related services. Any claim that Alipay can be used to purchase cryptocurrency on third-party platforms is false and unauthorized. Alipay reminds users to remain cautious and protect the safety of their funds and accounts.”
