Bermuda Partners with WalletConnect to Bring Crypto Payments to Local Merchants

October 29: According to CoinDesk, Bermuda is partnering with WalletConnect to introduce cryptocurrency payments for local merchants. The initiative will begin in the second quarter of 2027, first applied to the ticketing platform PTIX. When paying through PTIX, funds will be transferred directly from the customer's wallet to the event organizer's wallet and arrive within seconds.
