On-Chain Trading Cools Alongside Orderly Deleveraging as Gate Institutional Strengthens Multi-Asset Trading and Risk Management Capabilities
October 29: According to Gate's latest institutional weekly report, BTC and ETH fell 2.42% and 3.37% respectively from October 19 to 25, yet U.S. spot BTC ETFs still recorded about US$301 million in net inflows; meanwhile, Gate TradFi's weekly trading volume rebounded to above US$110 billion. On-chain trading volume, stablecoin supply and lending volumes declined somewhat, while borrowing rates and volatility indicators remained relatively stable, reflecting that this round of risk contraction mainly stems from the market actively reducing exposure, with no obvious liquidity tightness yet.
Institutional demand for trading efficiency and cross-market execution is also growing in tandem. Gate CrossEx trading volume rose 200% period over period, hitting an all-time high; CrossEx added Lighter contracts and connected real stock and ETF trading, further expanding its asset coverage. Low-latency trading, liquidity support, funding services and cross-platform execution capabilities for institutional clients continue to be refined, with the related trading systems and real-time push functionality upgraded in step, optimizing market data transmission, order processing and multi-strategy execution, and providing a more stable operating environment for high-frequency and professional trading.
Facing diverging asset performance and rising hedging demand, Gate Institutional is linking spot, futures and TradFi services through more complete trading infrastructure, supporting professional clients in cross-platform trading, liquidity management and multi-asset allocation.
