Upbit Warns Users to Be Cautious When Withdrawing to Binance, May Restrict Withdrawals If Necessary

October 30: According to an official announcement, South Korea-based crypto exchange Upbit has issued a warning notice regarding withdrawals of digital assets to Binance, stating that because a security incident has occurred at Binance along with signs that some digital assets were stolen, it reminds users to exercise extra caution when withdrawing digital assets to Binance. Upbit said it is continuously monitoring the situation and, to protect investors, may restrict withdrawals of digital assets to Binance if necessary; if its deposit and withdrawal support for that exchange changes, it will make a separate announcement.
