ZachXBT: Stolen Funds From Binance and Bitget Consolidate Into Same Address, Possibly Same Attacker

October 30 — On-chain detective ZachXBT said that stolen funds from the Binance $6.3 billion exploit and the Bitget $388 million exploit were consolidated into the same address 45 minutes ago after being transferred in via THORChain. This suggests the two incidents were likely the work of the same actor. ZachXBT said the Bitget exploit has been attributed to North Korea-linked TraderTraitor, a group that overlaps with other prior exploits such as Kelp DAO.
