Gate Ventures: Digital Financial Infrastructure Continues to Attract Institutional Capital; VC Market Funding Rebounds Significantly
November 3 — According to the latest crypto market weekly report from Gate Ventures, global financial markets showed clear divergence in the week ended November 2, 2026. US tech stocks and the semiconductor sector pulled back sharply, and the crypto market came under broad pressure, with Bitcoin and Ethereum falling 2.2% and 2.3% respectively. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 Equal Weight Index rose 0.80%, indicating that market capital is rotating from large-cap tech stocks into other sectors. The Federal Reserve voted 10 to 2 to keep the benchmark interest rate unchanged at 3.75%–4.00%, and market risk appetite continues to be shaped by the macro environment and changing expectations for tech company earnings.
Crypto industry fundraising remained active this week, with capital continuing to flow toward financial infrastructure and regulated digital financial services. A total of 13 venture funding deals were disclosed in the venture capital market, with total disclosed funding of approximately $1.375 billion; infrastructure projects accounted for 10 of those deals, making them the sector that attracted the most capital. Among them, prediction market platform Kalshi completed a $1 billion funding round at a $40 billion valuation; HIVE Digital Technologies secured approximately $129 million in fixed-rate financing to advance its GPU computing infrastructure buildout; and stablecoin payment service provider PhotonPay completed a $40 million Series C round, with plans to expand global payments and financial infrastructure.
