Nov. 3: According to Cointelegraph, on-chain investigator ZachXBT has raised the estimated scale of suspected theft from an unnamed EU entity to more than $133 million. Kraken subsequently said it had restricted the related accounts and is cooperating with law enforcement on recovery efforts, stating that the incident did not originate on its platform and that neither its systems nor customer accounts were compromised. Crypto.com said it stopped the relevant funds from moving through its platform, and OKX said it is investigating. Bitquery data shows the funds involved were withdrawn from the three platforms mentioned above, and about $629.8 million in stablecoins was converted into about 27,553 ETH within roughly four hours.
