Nov 3, 21:18

November 3: The public comment period for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) proposed "Regulation Crypto Assets" closed on Tuesday. Bitwise and the Hyperliquid Policy Center have submitted comment letters urging the SEC to provide clearer rules on whether tokens are subject to securities laws, airdrops, token buybacks and secondary-market intermediaries, with Hyperliquid also calling for the proposed safe harbor to be made more workable. Other commenters, including a former SEC enforcement official, argued that the proposal should be withdrawn.
